Tour itinerary
Departure from Islamabad and Peshawar on the first day from 8 am to 10 am.
The tour will be taken by motor car from Islamabad and Peshawar to Deer Bala.
Peshawar Motorway, Swat Motorway, Cheekdara Interchange, Dir Chitral Road, Dir Museum Cheekdara, District Dir Bala
After reaching Bab Kamrat, there will be a change of transport here.
After changing the transport motor car here, the total journey to Kumrat valley beyond Bab Kumrat will be done by jeep.
The distance between Bab Kumrat and Kumrat Valley is about 70 km. Which will be fixed in three hours.
You will stay the same night at Kamrat Valley Hotel.
The second day will start from 8 am to 9 am from the hotel and again in the jeep.
You will discover the beautiful places of Kumrat Valley on a jeep. Which includes Kumrat Forest, Kumrat Meadows, Kumrat Waterfall, and Kala Chashma.
And will return to the hotel by evening.
That night you will stay at Kumarat Hotel.
On the third day, from 8 to 9 in the morning, the return tour will depart from Kumrat Valley to the Dir district.
There will be a change of import after reaching District Dir Bala. From Deer Bazar, the tour will be taken back by motorcar to Islamabad and Peshawar.
Kumrat Valley is a valley in the Dir Bala District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. Kamrat Valley is located on the banks of the Panjkora River about 45 minutes from Thal city and is one of the popular tourist destinations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Every summer and winter season, about one million tourists from different parts of the country visit the Kumrat Valley for its greenery and cool weather. Around 2,000 vehicles enter the area on a daily basis during Eid al-Fitr holidays. It can only be accessed by 4×4 vehicles, as the road leading to it is unmetalled.
Features
Kumrat is covered with green pastures, snow-clad mountains, the river Panjkora, foggy mounds, and forests that are attractions of the region, which serve as habitats for a variety of flora and fauna. It is located in the Upper Dir Kohistan region at the back side of which the Swat Kohistan area of Gabriel is located.
Another feature of Kumrat Valley is its towering Deodar forest trees located on the level ground adjacent to the Panjkora river. At several places, the Panjkora River divides into channels, on the banks of which a few makeshift camping spots offer accommodation to tourists. There are several waterfalls there as well. Kala Chashma (Black Spring) is also located there.
